I sell brand new Baldwin filters for the deuce with the correct fuel filter gaskets. The set is $30.20 +Shipping. One set has the primary, 2 secondaries, and the 2 oil, along with the correct fuel filter gaskets. PM me if you are interested as I have a few sets left on hand.
I know what you mean about the looks. Recently I helped move all the band equipment after my friends band gig in a local town. I pulled up outside the bar with the deuce, lowered the dropside and started loading gear up. All the bars emptied with people coming out to look and smile. I fired...
I have an m105 just back from iraq that I got off GL a month ago. From what I was told it was for the sand. What they did on mine was press in deuce wheel studs and then they could use the budd wheel system with inner and outer nuts. It look badass and i'm not sure if I will leave it that way...
I'm on my way today to a parts dealer for exactly the same thing. If he didn't torch them to remove the axles, I will pick up an extra in case you are interested.
I agree 100% with having experience with the FMTV dump trucks and the older 900 series 5t dumps. At Ft. Leonard Wood, if we put a little too much gravel on the FMTVs, they could not raise the dump body, we had to take a wheel loader and scrape off gravel so it would dump. The old 900 series 5...
I have 4, 2 of them 1987yr in nice shape with new style landing gear. They are in SE South Dakota, i'm sure that is too far away, but if you are interested, pm me.
Ironically tomorrow I am on orders to sign for and pickup my units new PLS with FRS system on the back. I am the only one in the unit licensed on the PLS and the FRS so I have to go get it and then train everyone else on the two systems. A lot of responsibility for a PFC, lol. For those of...
All you have to do is unscrew the oil sender which is behind the air cleaner. screw in a mechanical pressure gauge. I think it is 1/8 size. Napa can sell you one of these. All is it is a pressure gauge connected to a rubber hose with a threaded end on it. Check there first. The location of...
I have the baldwin filters for the M35a2 if anyone is interested. I'm getting ready to order a few more cases since i'm about out. Let me know if you need any.
Have any of you guys experienced loadout damage on your trucks. I know they loaded my truck with a forklift, but I didn't know they would just scoop under it and lift it on the semi truck. I figured they would use chains to lift or something. Now my two cab steps are bent up and I can't open...
From one of the TMs I have been looking at it shows the bottom radiator support as having some sort of "spacer plate" before the two bolts go through the engine mount, then a washer, spring, washer, and nut. I have everything but the "spacer plate". Does anybody know exactly what this is made...
I have 2 M1 Garands and 2 M1 Carbines from the CMP and I don't have a bad thing to say about them. The CMP is a great deal and if I had more money laying around I would be stocking up on more rifles. Rack and Service sometimes look almost identical to me.
Most likey were on a lend lease program just like the M1 garands from greece that the CMP just got. They don't own the trucks, they are just using/borrowing them from the US.
If anyone wants, I have a bunch of baldwin filters coming in the next two weeks that will be for sale. I will post the prices when they arrive. I bought a few cases for a price break.
My problem is that I can't get the nut off, if i wrench on it the pulley just spins. What do you guys use to hold the pulley itself still while you use the impact wrench on the nut? Thanks.
The inverted V or chevron was a marking that the coalition forces used to mark their vehicles in desert storm. It is very similar concept that the allies used to mark their planes for D-day with the white stripes on the wings. It makes it easier to see friend or foe. My m35a2c also has those...
