88 A2C all the way home.

I have the original gauge cluster less the gauges; it doesn't have any extra lights on it.

88 A2C all the way home.

Update Thanks to Lavarock I got the wiring for the gauges figured out with the exception of the one numbered 85. On the firewall I found the air buzzer and it has a wire running into it which is numbered 85. Then it has a wire running out of it numbered 85 which is the loose wire that I have no...

Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

Geico is quick and easy... They know exactly what it is and will write a commercial (private use policy) on it in about 10 minutes. Beware of Progressive... They don't actually cover MVs, but are happy to collect the money... This has been mentioned before in this thread, but I think that the...

How many people get incorrect titles?

Update After waiting a few weeks for the replacement SF-97 it arrived, and it was exactly the same as it was the first time... Wrong. So I contacted the title dept at GL again and here is the reply I received. Followed up today with: I have to give Megan at GL a hand for going above and...

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

Yes here in CT we don't need titles on Vehicles older than 1980. Just a bill of sale which GL does provide.

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

Allstate doesn't insure tri-axle vehicles except on business policies.

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

RM: I am not sure that is true. We bought a new car last summer and had to call Progressive and add it to our policy before we could leave the lot with it. Also if your policy is good for up to 10000 lbs like most car policies, it will not cover a deuce or larger truck.

    Anybody recognize this "Pickle" Forklift?

Now that you have a pic, any silk screener.

How many people get incorrect titles?

I submit it after I pick up the truck and verify it. It just sounded like something GL would do to make a few extra bucks which is why I asked, I am glad it turns out to not be a chronic problem.

How many people get incorrect titles?

Maybe I am just lucky, the first one that was incorrect was a title, this one is an SF-97.

    Anybody recognize this "Pickle" Forklift?

I can't think of any reason why they would all these "pickles" Other then a play on the phrase "Pickle fork". It is green and has forks.

How many people get incorrect titles?

Of people who have bought trucks through GL, how many have received titles with incorrect vin numbers? I have received two so far and they charge $30.00 to correct them... I am not impressed.

    Anybody recognize this "Pickle" Forklift?

It isn't a Post Exchange because McMurdo, Antarctica isn't a military installation. It is operated by the National Science Foundation. I believe it has a population of about 1000 season residence so a gift shop would be sustainable... These people are only there for a few months a year and...

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

I just got an official letter from GL: It states "Starting Feb 1st 2012. Due to Costumer concern, We will now allow a 12 month window for loadouts. All sales are going to be conducted from one central location in Guam. Access for preview and loadout is by boat only, no civilian personnel will...

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

Just an update on Warner Robins: I just received and email from them stating that they provide load out assistance free of charge, and we do not need a base approved rigger. If anybody has any problems and wants a copy to present to them... PM me.

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

I also don't think this is a GL rule. I believe that because they lease the property they use from the Gov, there is something in their contract that stipulates 10 days from time of sale which legally occurs once your EUC is approved. They probably get charged storage for stuff there over 10...

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

I think this is more about base security: Think of this Scenario for a moment. Jared Loughner; an American citizen purchases a truck from GL... Gets through the EUC process and is scheduled to pick up said truck. He now has a vehicle that nobody would question and can pretty much drive...

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

They are selling above scrap value now. I don't think it will have any impact on prices. People will bid, go to drive them off of base and get told they can't... now they missed their pickup window and lost their truck... It gets re-listed and sold again.

No Driving Off Base-New Recovery Rules?

In KY I drove two off of Boone without registrations, both had insurance though. KY does not issue transit plates and will not register a vehicle without a title under any circumstances. That was only about a 10 mile trip and both trucks had been fully serviced and gone over by me in the three...

88 A2C all the way home.

According to the schematic, 85 is the air pressure switch, so that would explain why the buzzer isn't working.... still haven't figured out what it plugs into..
