    History on this Pinzgauer

Hi Gear Just uploaded a few pics of that 712M to my photobucket. A few different angles of the truck in action... http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a130/dsd277/Pinz%20pics/ Dave Dunn

    History on this Pinzgauer

Yes,that is one of Erik Purdom's Pinzs. I haven't talked to Erik for a couple of years now, but he never spared any expense in restoring/upgrading any of his vehicles. Though many of the "newcomers" to the Pinz world have never heard of him, he was behind many of the earlier aftermarket...

Mighty Mite Spare Tire Rack: part needed

Mike I have a pic of the plate on a Mite. The diameter is to the inside diameter of the lug pattern. I also looked at some (supposedly) M151 rims yesterday, and where the lug pattern was correct, the center pilot hole was much smaller than the one on my Mite.So I am not sure if they will fit...

Anyone know what this warning light is?

Been years since I had a gasser Pinz, but that's the emergency brake lamp. Quite common for those switches to stick. It is located at the rear and activated by the brake's lever arm. Dave Dunn

    710 transfer case in 712

Chuck There is a 12% difference between the 710 and 712 T case in both ranges. The ratios ( high range, low range) in the 710 is .88 to 1, and 1.69 to 1, and for the 712, 1 to1 and 1.92 to 1 Peter's 712 ( in Oz) has a 710 t case. If you never intend to carry heavy loads, it wouldn't be a...

    Got me a movie mog!!(PICS)

Wasn't me, though I had the TD out earlier, I spent most the day working on modifying the spare tire carrier on my 1300... and creating more work, I might add :(

    Got me a movie mog!!(PICS)

I replaced the glass in a 2450 a couple months back, it stood about 5" taller than my 1300, and the bed was a good 3 1/2' longer. Surprisingly, a typical 1300 is about 6" shorter in length than a full size American regular cab pickup, so a 2450 with a 14' bed would be between a extended and a...

    Got me a movie mog!!(PICS)

Congrats Devin As Mike Pop said, join the mog email list and stay away from Freightliner. Scott at Expedition Imports bought literally hundreds of tons of NOS 404 Mog parts in Europe last year. The 404 has a 6 speed trans with a forward/reverse lever that works in 1st and 2nd gear only...
