Mike The generator should be more than enough for the Mite... ignitions use very little power...I once used a cordless drill's battery to get my old land Rover to a friend to replace a dead battery and alternator...Starters and headlamps are what use power.sorry, but I'm rusty on troubleshooting...

Mike the CB is an automatic type. Self resetting. Never had any trouble with the fuel gauge, so don't know. my stop lamp switch was bad. Old brake fluid had it gunked up. CJ 5 one was a direct fit. Dave Dunn

Mike Send you the diagram and circuit pages. You will be better off converting the 12v. turn indicators to24 v, so that you can blend them into the stop lamp circuit..only need the 24v bulbs and 24v flasher relay for the changeover Dave Dunn
