Have you ever tried to set a tank towbar on your bed by hand? Have you ever tried to put a tank towbar on your bed with the boom? Better yet, have you tried to lift that spare off of the bed? If you had, you would KNOW WHAT IM REFERRING TO. The hook does not reach even the edge of the bed. Man...

Has anyone thought of upgrading the lift rams? All of these wreckers could stand a bit more verticle ability. 2 stage cylinders would allow for a longer stroke in the same collapsed length. Thus possibly allowing items to be lifted from or placed on the bed.

the air conditioner is in and sealed. still needs wrapped in expanded metal. painting the inside now. had my wife pick the colors. off white for the top wrapping down to just below the windows. a dark gray for the lower walls. charcoal indoor/outdoor carpet on the floor.

You sure do. I missed a grand 715 12-13years ago and have kicked myself every since. Great truck and appeared to this novice to be original. Little to no rust. Sharp hard top. Bet it went to the slowboat

i have one that does this too. it also jumps out of high range now and then. the handle does rest on the floor in low though. looks like ill be raising it up a bit. thats a 3/4 wrench if i remember right.

but is he bidding a tall brass pole with anchor plates on top and bottom? a jukebox? an expando van? mmmm portable "dance" club. gotta be creative! mount the pole in the center of the van so it doesnt have to be removed! hahahaha! if i offend anyone, i do apologize....

well, i got the air conditioner set up in the rack. im not terribly impressed. overall, it fits tight. i shouldve used a more narrow angle iron at the bottom of the window though. 1.25" wouldve probably been perfect. i may reverse the upper catch lip so it will move the angle across the top back...
