I agree. I have found that outside temperature makes a difference and adjustment is necessary once it gets to operating temp.

New style gravity feed adapters for Plastic fuel cans.. They have a 1/4 fip fitting on the isnide you can attached a pickup tube to.. I used fuel line with a fitting on the bottom for a weight.. You can get these on ebay.

Old style jerry can adapter.. Much shorter than the drum adapter. Not sure but I think if you use only 1/2 of the drum adapter pickup you can use it on a fuel can also..

Here is what I did... The fittings to work with it as is are hard to find. I removed the fitting that was in it. Then you can use standard 1/4 MIP fittings.. The quick release is off an Arctic Strove kit.. Andy..
