I doubt this guy is going to surrender. The fear is he takes a hostage.
On a lighter note, he shot out his own back window and abandoned his vehicle so we know right there it has to be dodge.
Oh yeah, they will get him. My neighbor said they might get me first since I'm driving his car. I'll have to point out its a chevy I'm driving, Just hope I can before I get tazed.
There is a video where a bystander took pictures of the chase. It looks to me like a M1009, but I'm not sure. It said the vehicle was a 1984 dodge. Take a look. Lincoln City Shooting Suspect Still on the Loose | KEZI
I bypassed the radiator cooler when I installed the ac condenser as a cooler because I thought that the radiator might get too hot, possibly over 190-200 on hot days and big loads. I was thinking of plumbing it so I could turn the radiator cooler off with a couple of valves. I have taken the...
The truck never seems to have any issues shifting whether hot or stone cold. Although I'm never pushing it when the engine is cold, I could be working it hard while towing with the engine at operating temp but the trans still cool. I'm going to install a temp gauge. Is there an ideal location...
Thanks for the heat breakdown and the best operating range. I want to put a temp gauge on my blazer, but where should it be located? I used a AC condenser for the cooler. Its big and cools alot I'm sure, maybe too much this time of year. I drive my blazer to work and the trip is 4 miles and...
I would like to know the optimum temp range for the th400. I know heat is bad for them but is too cold also a concern? I put a big cooler in front of my radiator and wondered if I should cover some of it when I plan on driving in temps below freezing. I also thought possibly MPG could be...
I personally don't think that our cucv's are a theft target as such and the one that was stolen in Oregon was a convenience theft where the keys were left in it. In the summer I take the top off, I don't worry about it much and besides a camo cucv stands out, something a thief doesn't like. I...
The perception gets fueled I think because some are listed as the HD version, military version, and civvy version. They were also updated so it all adds up to confusion.
I now pump all my own diesel here in Oregon, no more chances, I run my own card and start filling as soon as I get to the pump. The attendants sometimes come running over, but once they see me pumping diesel they are ok and almost everyone remarks about the big filler hole. I bought a truck...
What I'm thinking is that mechanic #1 may have fried your glow plugs. It would have been hard to miss the smell of gas when the fuel filter gets bled. I don't think the gas is going to do any damage by itself, but by messing with the fuel system he has let in air in somewhere or by using ether...
I'm also glad that your truck is back home. Changing the locks may seem like a good deterrent but getting a key is something a thief is unlikely to do. They break the steering column or hot wire but most of the time they drive away because the keys were left in it.
I forgot to add that it should accelerate in 2nd gear on just about any grade, but I also have to say that the acceleration will always be slow. They don't accelerate very fast even on the downhill side.
Just loosened. I think that is most of your problem. Your engine probably will make more noise when you advance the timing, better mileage, more power. If your pump is getting worn a new pump will make a huge difference.
I have a M1028. It has a tool rack behind the seat. Just bolted to the back of the cab. In my M1009 everything ends up behind the spare tire. I even have a tow bar in the back right now. I carry a fuel filter, spare belts and rad hoses in the 09 and the tools to change them if need be.
