Well, I WAS going to redo the deuce 3 woodland camo and be done with it....Looks like I will be doing something else now! If you all happen to find a colour photo, it would be greatly appreciated!
Many Thanks Guys!!!
I know that Army, A/F, USMC, and Navy used the Deuce. Tried getting a hold of the USCG history department and they said that there were NO deuces used or assigned to the USCG. The local guys said the same, although none of them were old enough to remember...Do you guys know if there were any...

hndrsonj, I have one. Mine DOES NOT fit the 1 1/2" outer nut by just a fudge, that's why I use a 1 1/2" socket for the outer nut and the "does not fit outter' socket on the budd...I figure whomever made the combo socket did not swedge it out enough...Like one of them 'Monday morning or Friday...
Thanks for the clarification Hndrsonj.
Mine don't, perhaps I got the wrong size or it might be that I got it from HF...The socket will not fit over the outter nuts, I have to use a 1 1/2 socket for the nuts and a budd socket for the budd nuts.
A budd socket is just that, a budd socket. You will need that for the budd nuts holding the inside tires on. You will also need a 1 1/2" socket to get the outter rear tires and front tires off. The budd nuts are square drive.
Didn't see your other thread about updating the axles...
Yup, change the tires. The trimming is at the bottom of the wheelwell on the cab side on both sides. Don't have any pics with me, but after you get the tire on, you will see where you need to trip. Usually no more than about 1/2 to 3/4"...
Actually both setups would be advisable, just in case the impact went 'South'...
You can go by HF and pick up one of their 1" impacts with a set of impact sockets at the same time. If you are going to use an impact off of the truck compressor, I would also pick up a 10 gallon tank and use it as...
The 33's in a 12.5" wide will fit but you have to trim the lower flange at the bottom of the cab on each side. Don't know if 13.5's will fit without more 'bodywork'.
But why spend the money right now on tires if your saving up for the 8" lift and the 'new' axles? I'd just as soon put all of my...
