No. It is for people who are doing a complete rebuild/ of the fuel system. We sometimes had to do something like this. Sets that had been a long time in the Ft. Bliss sun, or someone had stolen ALL the hoses, or a Reset/Rebuild. If the Unit of Issue, (UI) was RL, for roll, then in the...
People, Here is a Tip.
Item 15 is the hose he needs. Look at the SMR Code. MFOZZ. That tells you that the part is NOT stocked. You have to make it. Therefore, you will never find one other that salvage. Notice, that in the description of Item 15, it says, "Manufacture from:" and listed below is...
Ope up the control panel. There is a whole line of relays. But one of them is NOT a relay. The one on the far left, is NOT a relay. It LOOKS like one, but its not. So see if all the relays are tight in the socket, and that the far left one is NOT the same as the rest.
OK, I watched your video. I hope you have read the work packages. You are not starting the set right. Pre-Heat is too long, and unless its really cold, not needed. You started the set with the S11, (Parallel Switch) switch on. That means you had it in the Parallel position. ALWAYS have the S11...
You need to read, very badly, work packages 002 to 004. This cover what the major parts are and how to start and stop the gen set. Then we can start troubleshooting. It very hard to troubleshoot if you do not know what switch does what. I do not think you have some kind of show stopper problem...
Nice looking setup. Looks 100% different than here in Germany, but I like it. Cleaner looking. Almost no one has shingle roof here. All tile. Or almost.
Can you make a video of how you start this set? Did you push the S5. (AC output switch) up? Were are you reading zero voltage? The meter on the panel? or the output terminals?
That is a different kettle of fish. I have seen several trailer mounted gen sets "run" down hill, and only stop when the load cables come tight/rip out. On flat ground, chock blocks are normally not needed, (But SOP says ALWAYS use a chock block). But on a hill...
Vaultexile, Have you down loaded the TM's and maybe read a little in in the Operators TM? Below are the links to the MEP-904A and 804B gen sets. You need them both to work/use/operate the gen set.
