    What have I done now?

I keep hearing of this act of acquiring military vehicles as an "addiction". I look at it as being very smart and knowing well made over-built products that will last a lifetime (at a severely deflated price), and just wanting only to have a chance to buy back what you already bought once with...

    Post your cucv pics here

Thank you. It is an M332 ammunition trailer. Picked it up for $250. The pic was inroute home with it just day before yesterday. Only had to go about 100 miles to get it.

    Uploading pics problem

I can never view pics that say "images at tapatalk" on my phone. I use the full site view on my Android phone. Images that I can see, open up to a larger image, including images I have uploaded. My phone says it downloaded the tapatalk images but then says "cannot open file".

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

Mine don't have the placard holders. Good reminder though. Thanks.

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

That is sharp! Looks a little small behind a 5-ton and a little big behind a CUCV. Yet good behind either.

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

Mine is more like hmmwv nut's with the old metal recessed lights. Castle Bravo really made his look sharp. I need to just touch mine up paint-wise and replace the air hookups and valves on the back, plus straighten out a couple minor dents by the tailgate hole. I broke two of the metal screws on...

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

Thanks, I never considered that! What would be the best way to acquire the lunette/surge brake combo?

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

Thanks guys. I hadn't planned on using the CUCV to pull that trailer, except to get it home, and was very concerned after driving two hours that it might be too much trailer to even get it home. After hooking it up, I was shocked it was actually lower than my bed. I hope to get my humvee tires...

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

I picked it up today. For some reason I cant get a pic of my M1008, pulling the trailer, to upload. Downsized. Trying again.

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

I saw that. I was inquiring because I saw one on craigslist nearby, cheap.

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

Thank you. So about what era is it from? About what value are they?

What Trailer Has Pintle Hitch On The Rear?

I had someone tell me they had a camo military trailer with a pintle on the rear. It has a frame/suspension like a M105 with the same wheels and a square 6x6' (or so) cargo box that is very heavy duty and a tool/accessory box in front of that. Does anyone know what this trailer is or could have...

    Wheel weight? - 14.00R20 AT-2A + combat wheel

You will never be able to fit seven in a short bed, even standing upright. I hauled eight in a 16' trailer and couldn't fit one more without stacking or standing them straight up. The first two layed flat and I leaned the others all against them and barely got the ramp gate closed. If you...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Got my front shocks swapped out with very fresh Rough Country shocks I had recently put on a civy '86 Chevy. They extended very quickly after removing the lower bolt on my parts truck so I knew they were still very good to go. The road test afterward reassured me they would hold up for a while...

5 ton fuel tank selector valve cleaning/rebuild

I would read this thread from the beginning. It is very informative.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Ok. This question is getting asked, how do you know what brake fluid is in it? Only way I differenciate is by reading a label.

M929A2 Draining Air Tanks; One At A Time?

I wonder why or how it could matter at all, if at all!

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I don't know about "couldn't" sting, but I have yet to hear of anyone getting stung by them. I think they just dont "want" to sting anyone, maybe they have the blues. My exhaust fell apart today. Making an appointment at exhaust shop tomorrow. I do most of my work, but rust in the eye did me...
