My guess on the weight is going to be around 2000 lbs extra. Post 106 showed the weight as adding 1440 at that point. the 2000 doesn't include water and passengers. I am interested to see myself.
Got a bit more done on the truck. worked on the waste water tank racks or as the kids call...
Its been a while since I last posted. I finished the window frames. Took a lot longer than I thought. Frames were made from 2*2 square tubing. I got the two installed and plan on geting the third one in this week. Little by little I am getting there. Got a bit of pics of the two installed...
Scratch the excel water heater. I liked the one M1031cmt has on his M109 build. Going with the marey. I have also contacted a camper window supplier. They liked the idea of donating time to Wounded Warriors. Gave me a great price on windows. I looked at buying house windows but they were...
I had to make due with-out the slide outs, but it would have been nice to have the extra room with them. The back of mine has double doors to allow for a quad, dirt bikes or, like you, wheel chair access. I plan on doing some volunteer work with the Wounded Warriors. Thought the Warriors might...
I'll be ordering the water heater soon. Maybe next week. I'll be getting the Excel 1.6 Gal/min tankless vent free water heater. I'll be putting plenty of venting in the camper for fress air so o2 consumption isn't really a concern. I'll be working on the waiste water tank racks and the vents...
14' *20' Is bigger than any room in my house. The camper would give all kinds of elbow room. Quick question. Who do you intend to frame out a bath room with the section of the must fold down and serve as the floor when extended. I thought most slide outs on rv's have the floor of the...
I even thought about putting one of the expandable boxes on the M36a2 / 2.5 ton, before I went with the shiping container sides. I loved the extra room with the slide outs I think almost 12' wide if I am correct. My neibor has freind still in the USMC and said a few of the M36's had them on...
I have been researching water heaters for the camper. Decided on a tankless one. I like the vent free excel 6 Lts. I am not worried about O2 depletion. I will have plenty of venting. anyone have some feedback on th excel or maybe a better brand. I want to install the water heater in the...
Tom Would running the bigger 395 tires cause any problems? I would be really interested by next year. I started saving beer cans already for the $$. [thumbzup] And I would want the entire kit.
I loved your keep it simple philosophy. I have seen some of the other builds and I am intimidated by the wood work that they have done. Mine is going along with the same princible. functonality. Hope things get better with the mechanics. If you get close to Eastern Pa and need a hand give a...
Tom, I'm in PA but what an offer. I have the air assist now but I have been thinking about the hydr. systems. I need to finish the rv conversion but I may be truely interested. Plan on running P395s. I already have the rims from govliq. Would the tire size be a problem?
By the time the kids are that big they better be getting their own Deuce to build a camper HA HA. I agree. would have liked to get a few more inches bt was limited with space. When the bunks are down and the extenxion is on teh dinnette set for the big bed, I still need to be able to get it...
