Really apreciate the offer but already have th froth pacs in the garage. just waiting to finish with the weldin on the box before I spray. Plus a trip to Florida would end up costing a lot since I would also have to go to bike week in Daytona. Wife already said no to that.:-( HA HA

It looks like a great idea, but I wonder about the cost. The spray foam I bought (Dow Froth pac 620 system) cost me about $1300. To have it installed by an insulation company would have run me about $3000 to $4000. I think the second roof idea might be a lot cheaper.

Both ideas sound like good ones. I do plan on putting the pannels on but like you said the $$$ needs to be there.

Well loaded the ac unit in and ran the extension cord through the hole I cut in for the toilet plumbing. I pluged the opening around the ac unit with rags, nothing fancy, and I had the box shut up, windows and roof vent shut and holes for water heater vent and hole for plumbing covered with...

Well here are a few pics of the air conditioner rack I am making. Like I talked about before, The air is seasonal so it will come out in fall and back in during spring. But I still need a tough rack to holp up during the off roading. This aint no winnebago, so 2*2*1/8" angle was the way to...

Good Idea about the roof being double walled but too much work right now. If I find that the ac unit isn't quite big enouph I might go woth a white herculiner roof. but I have tons of work till then.

Here are the pics of the vent cover. The idea was to put something in that would keep the wind out of the vent pipe on windy days and to keep the weather out like snow and rain. Once the inside wall is done ( insulation and panneling), I will tack weld the 90 degree elbow in place. I am just...

Just got some more done. I installed the water fill. I went with the two fill type. One side uses a spout to fill the tanks and the other is if there is a water hook up for constant water. I also decided to change out the roof vent/cap. The new one will have plexiglass to allow light in...

I was thinking the same thing. I thought about white or grey herculiner for the roof. I will probably paint it camo and see if it is too hot. Then I might go with the white. I an putting a lot of faith in the insulation.

To tell you the truth this question has consumed a lot of my time. I was going to buy a actual rv fridge but the $1400 is a bit much. I am looking at a 6 to 7 cubic foot fridge made fro apts from boscovs. They sell them for around $300. Uses more electric but cost of the other is too much...

I actually have planned to use a awning/ water collection system. When of grid camping I plan on having the rain water drain into a container then pump it onto the roof. Also planning to have solar water heater. That is why I used 1*1 square tubing to stud out the bathroom. extra bracing for...

Mike, it is just going to drain straight out. I will put a garden hose attachment for the grey water. I've seen the toilet tank cleaner wands for cleaning out the brown water tanks. It will be a straight drop for the toilet into the tank so droping down thw wip wand to clean out the tank...
