We plan on getting there Friday morning/ afternoon. Only going riding Saturday and leaving Sunday morning, per wifie. I still plan on bringing plenty of water, but I need to unload the 55 gal before we ride Saturday. So if some guys have smaller water containers I will be more than happy to...

That deck is way too big. I'll be happy with my little pad. My veterans rally trip to Kokomo Indiana was great. We did the tent thing because the camper wasn't ready for a trip like that, 700 miles one way. I realized the amount of water for showers was going to be a lot more than I thought...

Great ideas 59. Always looks good and simplistic. Mechanical over electric and hydraulic makes for less problems.

Haven't had time to post much or work on the deuce. I had a few hours this am before work though. I was informed the tailgate/deck needed to be wider and the top step had to be fixed. All requests per wifey and daughter. So like any tough man of the house, I grumbled and started thinking it out...

After a bit of thinking about it, I beleive I will go with the generator option. I would like to get the solar and alternator down the line but the generator would be used the most for now. I won't have to worry about cloudy days or if boon docking, I can run a honda 3000 much cheaper than...

59 Are you saying that I should have two inverters. Northern Tool sells the pure sine inverters. 1800 watt continuous with 4000 surge as the biggest they have. The electrical stuff I need to learn a lot more about. AC to DC. If you sugest a 100A alternator then I would thnk a little bigger...

Thanks for the compliments. I put in the cab through window for this weekends camping trip. I got the final on the temp thing. I stole the wife's oven thermometer. Outside roof temp was 153 degrees. Inside stayed at around 80, with the kids going in and out. Not bad, not bad at all. I...

Just looked at peashooters build. He did a great job. Mine will be a bit rougher inside. Good enouph for me:D. Finsished the sanding today. It was at 104 heat index with no ac. I took it out so it didn't get pluged up with saw dust. I need to put a stain or sealant on the inside panneling. I...
