PB it happens more than you may think. While in the marine infantry, it was easier to understand astrophysics then to get motor T support. On a number of occasions I would load my 1500 chevy pick-up with 1000 lbs of gear. The alternitive was to hump the 10 miles back to the barracks with all the...
I got all the side wall panneling back up. Believe it or not the tek foil thickness caused me to have to do a bit more trimming on the pannels. good think I had the floor coated with the raptor liner because I have about a gallon of sweat dripping off of me today. The powder coating is will be...
Finally got back to the camper. The tek foil is complete. All Seams are taped and things are in tight. I will start puting the pannels back in tomorrow.
Thanks Caliber. Here the pics of the stairs minus a little weight. I like the look much more now. Took them to the powder coating shop this am. I have a few day to work on the fence around the yard now. I should get back to the truck next week.
Ok guys I'll try it again, but I must say I did yet another stairs modification. I have to get pics of it, but here are the new levelers with poppy my son and my princess.
Here are a few pics of the steps with new levelers. I went with the Louisville ladder LP-2300 levelers. They are much faster to set up. My favorite boy and poppy helped out.
good to know for the future 59. I sprayed the rest of the floor on wednesday. I used the tintable raptor liner. A bit more $$ but I decided to let the wife pick a color. I figured even if she hates the color when its done she'll never say a word because she picked it. My plan seems to have...
Took a look at the herculiner job this morning. I really like the way it turned out,,,, so another change to the custom camper. Instead of rustoleum bronze hammered I am going with herculiner grey. Less change of slipping when it is wet and can just rinse out the inside after the kids and...
Got some more done today. I prepped the bathroom and dinnette areas and masked off the rest of the inside. I was going to spray herculiner on the side walls and floor of the bathroom and dinnette areas but the spray system was crap. The stuff in the containers was thicker than tar even after...
Thanks for the info scarecrow. I'll try it next time.
59 I was going to try using some chain as railing. Not sure how it will work, I am definitely having a hand rail for safety.
It isn't as heavy as it looks. 16 guage channel and 7.5" web with 2" flanges. It will actually hinge to the tailgate so no need to carry it. Pics to come this next week. PS treads are 21" wide.
Nice job 59. Atleast one of our builds is nearing completion. I still have tons of work. I Can't say enouph about your attention to detail. If my wife seen your build she may leave me . I have to go and get her now to look over your build. Leave me Leave me.
