    Typical oil pressure?

That seems low, but I believe the -10 says it's fine, mines normal right around there at idle, and a little above 60 at 2K. It's likely just a matter of wear on the bearings.

    Newbie Exhaust Question

Mine's modded now as well, I like it, I can talk to the wife now going down the road, but the Deuce has no, I repeat, no sound killing material like a modern truck. The tranny is loud, the engine is loud, the road noise is loud, perhaps with additional material you could get it a bit quiter in...

    Deuce "D" Turbo Piston Destruction

RE: Deuce D turbo destruction Wow, hard to believe it would run like that, but it's good to know!

    Problem with temp gauge

My oil gauges does the same thing, normally it will read 60PSI at speed, around 30 at idle, but ever so often it drops off the chart for no reason, flipping the power switch off and back on brings it back to where it should be. I'm guessing it's a lousy contact somewhere, I need to hunt it down.

    Bought a M332 - opps!

Great comments guys, I'm looking forward to getting it, EUC going on on Monday, let's hope it clears as quickly as my first one did on the Deuce. We don't really have inspections here in Ohio on vehicles or trailers, there's a Sheriff inspection to verify VIN etc, but that's it. Maybe I'll make...

    Muffler madness

Did the muffler mod on my new M109A3 today. As you can see I decided to go tall on this one, I want that exhaust up near the van top. We'll see how quite she is this evening.

batteries and cables stolen at Anneville

David, Sorry to hear about the battery issues, they are headed back to put new ones it, correct? I can't say that Mike would have let someone take them off the trucks, he was pretty clear that I should stay with my truck when I was there, I had asked about looking around at the other stuff and...

    Bought a M332 - opps!

These are coming from Drexel Garden in Indianapolis. I just can't believe that the total investment is right at $200 for something like this. I might very well spend as much in fuel going to get it, this is right at 3 hours in the deuce from me, gives me an excuse for more driving and to go see...

    Bought a M332 - opps!

Well, I but a starting bid on a M332 this afternoon, and apparently I won it. I've posted the pics. I have a M109 to pull it with, and I wanted a trailer of some sort, but this guy looks a little on the small size. I understand they were used for ammo, but what would you all say they are good...

    VIN Number Confusion

A bit more searches show that in this case my serial number is my VIN number. My guess is your ID number is part of your VIN.

    VIN Number Confusion

David, Thanks for your help! I've got most of my information now for my SF97, what is my complete VIN based on those numbers? Is there something else I need?

    VIN Number Confusion

David, I'll check the frame, I'm guessing it does. I think it is a repower, there's a hole in the floor like you mentioned, the panel is flat as well, I'll need to check the motor mounts to confirm for a fact. Here's other pictures, about mid way down of mine...

    New M109

Walter, I'll check underneath, it seemed tight on the inside, I wish I didn't have to wait until Friday to test the theory!

    VIN Number Confusion

So I have a similar question, I've only got these nubers on mine: M109A2 Serial Number: 109394 NSN: 2320000771636 FSC: 2320 There's no year of manufacture or MFG on the data plate. What should I put on my SF97 request?

    New M109

So I picked up my Duece on Friday, and drove her from Fort Indiantown, to Winchester, VA, then to Springfield, OH, I have to say, even with the long distances, she was a blast to drive, and I hate that I'm in CA right now and I can't go home after work and fire her up and take her for a spin. I...

It was a drive, even 400 miles was a long haul!

Picked up two M35A2 and a M109A3 from GL at Fort Indiantwon

I picked up my M109 at Fort Indiantown as well last Friday. Mike jumped it for me and it ran great. I drove it 160 miles or so back to Winchester, VA and then the 400 miles back to Ohio on Sunday. The truck was great, fresh coat of paint, 10 brand new tires, brand new batteries, and the engine...

New Deuce Owner With Front Axle Drive Question

RE: Engage front axle? Ahh, I've only learned a little here, and I have yet to pickup my Duece (this Friday woohoo!) but perhaps your truck is Sprag equipped as oppose to air shift.
