That seems low, but I believe the -10 says it's fine, mines normal right around there at idle, and a little above 60 at 2K. It's likely just a matter of wear on the bearings.

My oil gauges does the same thing, normally it will read 60PSI at speed, around 30 at idle, but ever so often it drops off the chart for no reason, flipping the power switch off and back on brings it back to where it should be. I'm guessing it's a lousy contact somewhere, I need to hunt it down.

A bit more searches show that in this case my serial number is my VIN number. My guess is your ID number is part of your VIN.
