    Making a fording kit

Ditto on the "make my own"... Your correct on the air cleaner... that stub is for the compressor. You need a PSI reg and switch in order to pressurize your clutch housing, which also pressurizes your transmission to keep water out. I am going to go a step forward and run the axle lines and...

Ah some good news... Truck 0 Mike 1.... My gear box spoof is fixed... In the pic below you can see the adjuster nut (1/2-20) in the center of the side plate (4 bolt cover plate)... With the line criss crossed yesterday it pulled the threads out of this plate so the jam nut was worthless...

    Engine temperature Turbo whistler

I would assume that a 320 tempature gauge is for some hydraulic / oil application because any engine over 250 degrees would be toast. Correct gauge for the M35 is the 240F NSN 6625-01-936-2139... PN MS 24543-2 Correct sending unit is NSN 6685-00-814-5271... PN MS 24537-1

    Parts for LDT-465 6-CYLINDER MULTIFUEL in 1971 M35A2

Welcome to the site and ditto on everything said but I have something to add... Being that you can pick up a surplus motor in excellent condition for 800-1000$ it is not at all fruitful or practical to rebuild a multi for the time being... I am sure there will come a day when we will all have...

    Engine temperature Turbo whistler

Around 180-190F (82.2-87-7C) pending the ambient temp... Some have trouble keeping 150F(65.5C) in colder climates. Yes the gauge and sending unit much match each other. They work off of resistance, if mismatched you will ether get a false reading and / or no reading at all... If you doubt your...

Brake fluid -how to tell which kind you have DOT 3 or DOT 5

RE: Brake fluid -how to tell which kind you have DOT 3 or DO You can spare yourself a lot of agony by removing the vent cap and adding a barbed fitting and line up to the fire wall which will allow for a remote tank to be mounted making fluid checks much easier. There are some motorcycle...

    Fuel tank

Best way to clean out a fuel tank is with hydrochloric acid (muriatic, pool acid)... Takes 1 or 2 gallons pending how bad the tank is. Dilute the acid about 25% with water and slosh the tank around every 5 minutes or so. Usually will take about 30 minutes to do, an hour if suborn... When you are...
