I modified my hard top with a hatch to access the ring. I think there are some better PIC's in my other posts if you want to search. I will try to get better PIC's.
Add a little lipstick and most anything will look better in the right light.
I got my truck from a guy about 20 miles away. It had been sitting for years in a cedar tree thicket Tires sunk into the ground to the rims, dead batteries. Hooked it to a M151 and let it sit for 10 minutes and hit...
Here is the post on the wheels that I did. Do a search on rims, there are several ways to do them.

I had my ring on without the plate. At the time I did not know there was a renforcement plate. I could tell the cab had some flex movement but it was while off road and puting it into a bind. I think over a long time it might cause some problems to the cab. 300#'s + up in the air on 3 legs...
What works best in the Harbor Freight blast cabinet?
Glass bead, Black Beauty???
For outside blasting on my truck I used #5 sand from Richards Equipment. $5.50 per 100#bag with a 35 bag pallet. Most industral tool supply or rental companies shopuld have some type of blast media.
I have this one for $125.00. It is missing one of the red marker lights but I think it is complete otherwise. It's a little dirty and has a few scratches. No extra charge for the bird poop.
Really, I do not have any idea what I am doing here. It I can use any of the parts I have I will use them and then trade off the rest for other parts I need.
I want an intercom headset for me and the kids to make it a little more enjoyable on trips. Later on I might see about adding a...
Here is the assortment of cables I have.
1st one I think is a generator cable maybe. It has the lock ring at the connection head.
2nd and 3rd are 50’ with NATO ends.
4th I think is the old 2 pin style jumper cable.
Last one I am not sure. It is a 2 pin cable but has spring covers.
Re: RE: Intercom in a deuce. CAN YOU HERE ME NOW
A what, and a what, and a what?
Have any pic's maybe?
I see lots of parts but have no idea what I need to look for.
OK, when it comes to radio stuff I am illiterate. I have been collecting some parts I think I need. Will they work? What else do I need to make an intercom for at least 3 people to talk to each other?
I had one of the cables that had been damaged. Barrman now has it, maybe he can post a PIC of the copper cable. The copper strands in these cables are thin and many. I also have some cables I am not sure what they are for. They have a screw latch on the plug ends.
RE: New duece brakes locked while driving help
When mine locked up I opened the air valve and it did not help. The trash in the master kept the fluid under pressure and they would not release.
RE: New duece brakes locked while driving help
I had the same issue. Took the air pack apart and it was NOS with no issues. I discovered some trash in the master that was not letting it release. Cleaned it and flushed the lines.
Post a PIC of your mirrors. When I was looking I found about 4 different styles. From the west coast style to the elephant ear style. I went with the elephant style and really like them.
