I have one ring left. It is missing the felt and the band that goes around the cover but spins good.
I am trying to blast my legs and get them painted before I put my ring back on.
Did you get the pic of the tires?
RE: Nice job!
I still need to paint the underside of the bed and a few odds and ends.
I will need to replace most of my gauges. I taped them off but not good enough. Sand still got to the glass when blasting and frosted them and then I also used lacquer thinner and it clouded the ones with...
PIC DSC00039 shows the rim with the center removed on the lathe. I could have done it with a torch and grinder but for $20.00 per rim I could not pass it up.
I sold off my first set of rims and 15.5's. I made a second set of rims the same was as the first set but did not balance the rims like before. I did take the rims to a buddy that has a large lathe to cut the centers out of them. I have Goodyear 395’s on the front and Michelin 395’s on the...
Well I took it on a 100 mile trip. Other than the SAND comming out from everywhere it was ok. One hub getting hot but it is the one I replaced the bearings in so maybe too tight. I ran out of sand and still have some small parts to finish up.
I picked up about 50 yesterday and had set them down to get some other parts to include a 50' NATO cable. Walked out and forgot the sheer pins. All gone this morning.
Overson lockout hubs on the front. I did not tape anything. Sandblasted and painted. Anything with bearings or openings I trued not to blast direct.
I need to get some new pic's up.
I have a set of chain strapes for $120.00 shipped. From time to time I can find the pins. 3/4 pins are harder to find than 1" for me. I have some 1" X 3/4" feet and some ?? 1 1/4 X ( 3/4 and 1") on other end.
Re: part
I did that when I unhooked a civi trailer that I had riged a plug on. I had several cars passing and pointing.
I have a couple used plug cords if you still need one.
