I saw a show on Discovery about them pulling the plane out of Lake Murray... it caught my eye because I'm from SC and I know where that lake is... LOL I'll have to do a little looking to find out which Discovery show had the footage.
*edit*
It was on Mega Movers.

I'll have to reread my policy from Gulfway, but the only restriction I have is NO commercial use and trailers aren't covered unless they have their own policy from Gulfway... not sure I understand that, but that's what I was told.

Next week is pretty booked during the day, but evenings are somewhat clear. I'll drop you a PM with my contact info so we can work something out.

I have a medium tow bar (with almost all the adapters and axle clamps) and an 816 to move things... Don't know if I want to take the wrecker to Pueblo (Maybe when the 936 is done :) ), but I can bring the bar down in my Dodge.
While we're talking about wants... I need a pair of complete doors...
Glad to hear you got it on the road. I'm hoping to get mine fired up for the first time here soon, but I keep finding little things missing (like the fuel return hose and fitting off the injection pump) that would make a mess if it were running without that part... LOL
BTW, the parts truck we...
Can anyone with a M939A2 truck look at the driver's side of the engine and tell me what is missing from these pictures besides the Air Compressor/Power Steering pump?
Specifically, there are two coolant locations that are disconnected and I'm not sure what goes there...
Thanks,
Joe
I'd have to say it's a blown cooler too... had it happen on a generator I was working on in the AF.
The oil cooler is bolted to the block just above the alternator. The service instructions for the cooler are in the 260-34-1 manual on page 3-30.
Good luck with it, you might want to get it...
As far as I know, you need to have an SF97 for the vehicle, and GL is technically the purchaser of the vehicle from DRMO, then they sign the SF97 over to you.
I'm going to take the SF97 for a 1009 I bought over to DMV later this week and I'll have some current intel for you on the requirements...
But if that fusible link was blown, there would be no 12V power at all...
Have you checked the battery feed wire to the headlight switch? It is the orange wire tagged as 'Orange 40C' in the diagram to see if it has power? That appears to be where all of the lighting system gets its power from...
Up on the deck behind the spare tire carrier and it looks like the same one as the cargo truck. There are two of them in Rancher's Supply's salvage yard, both Air Force and both REALLY rusty... I'm not sure where these things spent time, but they are swiss cheese.
I'll try to get pics when I go...
So did anyone figure out how to bypass this box? I can jump my 936A2 by wiring the solenoid open and using a remote starter switch to get it started, but that doesn't help me check the gauges and switch installation...
Also, does anyone know where I can get one of those boxes?

Joe
