The plug information is not in one specific place... it is spread out across the different wiring diagrams.
Here's a quick and dirty illustration I put together. I'm only missing one spot on the plug because I don't have my dash apart currently to trace it down. It is oriented as the socket on...
Have you taken voltmeter readings (with your multimeter) while the needle is in the yellow? It's hard to diagnose the problem while everything is charged up...
Did you check the smaller plugs on both alternators? Are either of the Gen lamps on?
Your headlight issue is a bad ground around the...
Just find any proper bodystyle Chevy truck/Suburban/Blazer in the junkyard and pull the indicator from its cluster. It is only held on by two bolts and is a direct swap.

*sigh* It's been one of THOSE days...
First, no pics because when I got home and tried to DL them, they are all blurred and out of focus so I'm guessing my kids killed the digital camcorder.
Next, NOBODY has a set of cage bolts in the entire town... I had to order them in from NAPA and...
Just checked it out in person for the first time. The frame extentions for the winch are bent but the frame is ok. All of the PTO hardware is still there too. The majority of the missing parts seem to be the common 939A2 parts.
I'll upload pics when I get home.

It's a Nissan SD33 (normally aspirated) diesel similar to the ones in the Scout. It has a TF727 transmission and a 208 transfer case locked in low range (Most had no shift fork even installed) . The rear is a Dana 70 with 4.88 gears. The frame is actually a shortened FSJ (Wagoneer) frame so you...
Hey Doc, nice M62
Gimpy is talking about the support between the roller for the rear winch and the boom. That's not original although it looks quite handy if you don't have to drop the boom lower than that. The original shipping braces are sitting in the tank holder on passenger's side looking...
I'm not familiar with the Zeligson, but I'm guessing it has a knuckleboom (or similar) for self loading. When they saw the pics of that, they wigged out.

You can jump the solenoid with a remote starter switch, but it is a REAL tight fit to get your hands in there to hook it up. You might be better off removing the starter and having it bench tested.
The key not returning to 'on' from 'start' you might be able to fix by pulling the column down...
Since it came and went, I'd almost guarantee that it's a corrosion/connection problem.
BTW, the light is supposed to come on when you turn the ignition to 'ON' and the engine is not running.

If it's the wire I'm thinking about, it's a small orange wire from the control harness to the relay. The TM is wrong about where this wire goes, it is supposed to go on the glow plug side of the relay, not the resistor side. The TM has it backwards.

Hey guys, I just got a call from my driver who picked up the 936 from Jackson and he says the tool bins are full of tools, snatch blocks, chains, etc.
Should have pics on Sunday or Monday when it gets here.

Are you sure you're in 2wd high not 4wd low? The 1008 should get to at least 50 before sounding like it was going to snap the rubber band...
