No Idea! Back of my truck I guess. I'll have to hook up with you and Gimp prior to the meet for stuff you have both collected anyway - I was planning on getting there early enough to assist with setup..
Tire chains and shelf breckets
I will have single tire chains there at $150 a pair. Labeled as 10.00-20 11-22.5 and listed as "M915/M916"according to the GL lot.
Also limited number of Cadillac - ISU 60/90 storage container shelf brackets @ $18 for a set of 4 (That's one shelf) - First...
Have PM'd mdmorgan (works at WR base) but no reply yet. Anyone else "sort of" in the area, able to pick up a small pallet and save till the GA rally?
Cheers
Thanks for the ....
... but I am thinking there needs to be a new thread of that build!!! What the 'flippedy flop' are you doing with it?
Let the contest for acronyms begin:-
Haven't actually gone out and pulled stuff apart to find fault yet, but here is my TM prep which I'll print out for reference in the shop.
It took me quite a while to wade through all the cross references in the TMs and I am still not fully clear on some of it.. ***
Cut and spliced two pages...
I've noticed that when talking to non CCC M916 owners - ie: A1/2, they refer to the CCC M916's as "A0's" yet they were never designated as A0's.
Perhaps the A0 is added later, after the second, third generations of trucks arrive.
What would be confusing is seeing an XM_ _ _A1/A2...
Splendid.
For the sake of future viewers, here's the link for the front levelwind lube mod thread...

While I'm at it, I'll throw in the reference for the rear level wind...
Another "Welcome to the wrecker club" from me.
Looks like you are dressing her up like the Australian wreckers in Vietnam a-la "Tunza Gutz".
She was the only one that survived and made it home. Now in the Aussie War Memorial Museum.
Looks fine to me - hidden behind its own bumper...
.. with install lift eyes (yellow) and "Sorry, didn't see you" reflective stripes. Could also add skid plate underneath to protect stuff which would act as a foot/stand when not in use sitting on the shop floor.
Add a couple of "dealy...
Any particular reason you used the crane to pull the shed onto the trailer or is the main drag winch not clear on the pic and you were "steering" the shed with the crane?
Trying to locate anyone in the OK City area to possible pick up a pallet, hang on to it for a bit, then I'll have time to organise shipment or possible transfer to the GA rally.
Thanks.
NB. M1075 someone suggested you but your pm box is full.
74' has valid points, potential consolation though... It could be defended, however it would probably necessitate hiring a "motoring" attorney, who could use the defense which compares it to snow ploughs (plows), crank mounted hyd pumps on things like dust carts (trash trucks), concrete...
Tom - you say
if you are not after the original/factory brackets (pic #1, item 17), they look simple enough to copy. Do you have dimensions of the heater can and bolt spacing?
"This earthmover carries no armour or defensive armament."
"Looks like a snow groomer to me officer". Especially if you throw a coat of non army paint on it. Or even a piece of agg equipment.
Will it fit in a box or does it have to go RORO?
I do know that the UK now has export licence...
Mike/Carnac - I do agree that time and effort vs profit needs to be considered.
I guess I was hoping that the likes of Eastern etc., may make an inventory, by NSN when emptying their Tri Walls, maybe even using some kind of digital number reader/scanner. After that, a spread sheet could be...
This sounds almost too good. What are you and Pat taking out there? I guess we need to have speaks before...
Not sure yet what Gymp is able to do for me.. if he can pick up from GL that's great, then if there is room for him (?) to get it to Findlay that would be great, otherwise, a detour...
