    IDLER ARM BROKE

Does AMG make any of these parts themselves? I thought they were all a flavor of Moog as some clearly state moog problem solver on the components...

    IDLER ARM BROKE

In another lifetime I sold parts for 20 years.I do not recall seeing that kind of failure in an idler arm. Scary to think the loss of steering..... What is the back story? On trail, on road, chasing zombies?

    IDLER ARM BROKE

I wish moog would sell these items directly to us. AMG contract folks made a great job of locking up access to these parts as propriety so they control the market. Damn shame the crap these firms put out. A cracked idler arm sounds like a class action lawsuit if multiple failures can be...

    FL Is Hagerty schizophrenic?

I am curious on how hagerty covers trailers? Does it need to be garaged? What does the policy cover? Could you share a generic cost for the trailer?

Complete newbie question about trailers for hauling vehicles and equipment

You are good. I know air over hydraulics can be converted to electric but not aware if you can covert full air to electric. Unfortunately I had to get up close and personal with my xm1073 as either a GSA or military forklift driver chose to hit one of my boosters. Another kind ss member gave...

Complete newbie question about trailers for hauling vehicles and equipment

The brakes are air over hydraulic. You should have 2 boosters and master cyls- one for each axle with wheel cyls activating the brake shoes. Same air over hydraulic on many series sharing common parts such as bolster, m105, m149, m103, xm 1073 etc...

Complete newbie question about trailers for hauling vehicles and equipment

The challenge you will have is most military trailers that might work for you are going to be air over hydraulic and designed to be towed with trucks having air brakes. Yes, they can be converted to electric and there are threads on here. I believe the average cost was $1000. M1061 has a high...

My M149 Water Buffalo. What do you do with yours?

That water buffalo was rebuilt at the Kansas Depot and explains the mint condition. You got a smoking deal. I looked at all the m149 that sold this year and only found one other with a williams ez hitch. It was bent and totally unsafe and not serviceable for a loaded water trailer. I have an...

My M149 Water Buffalo. What do you do with yours?

Wow! What a score. Not sure if you realize the williams ez adjustable hitch on there is super rare and expensive. Some unit gave that buffalo a lot of love. Extended chains with latch hooks also. I see lots of data plates on there besides the main one. Could you post pics of all the smaller ones.

Question on trailer parts. Maybe M1061?

That is a special purpose built trailer in low numbers. Never seen that variant. Not a m1061 or bigger brother xm1073. Looks like it shares the same running gear. Neither of those are aluminum nor wooden deck. Also they have stabilizer Jack's on each corner. M1061 have 16.5 tires, xm1073 have...

    Oil filter

Champion labs is also iso9000 certified factories and a quality product. All they make is private labels. I think they still make STP which is the autozone main product they push now. Years ago when I first started at Auto Shack (zone) they were heavy into purolator.

    Oil filter

For 20 years in another lifetime I sold parts. Napa had a display made by wix which is napa of a napa filter,Fram, And ac delco . Fram looked like it was hot glued together with something just better than toilet paper with end caps and valve that screamed junk. Just Google it to see Fram...
