I have noticed the fonts vary. The fonts on my trucks are slightly different from truck to truck. As long as you are doing them all it won't matter much if you don't have to match existing letters.
I made my own stencils and actually customized some of the letters and numbers to be the way I...
I decided a long time ago it's easier to change brake pads or shoes than a clutch disk. If I'm on a long grade I'll use the correct gear that let's me use minimal braking; but I generally don't down shift while stopping. If you need to down shift, just make sure to slow it down so you don't...

Sorry to hear your story Average Joe. I don't think I've had nightmares that ended that badly. There's no doubt in my mind who the winner (or loser) of the "Worst Trip Ever" award is.
Like DH said, posting while you were having trouble may have brought some help. Good luck going forward.
I'm finally getting around to updating here. :clinto:
In September/October 2013, I painted and re-stenciled the M929 (right before the GA Rally). I took pictures during the process, but I can't find them now.
Oh well, I used a Harbor Freight super cheap, HPLV, $10 on sale, gravity feed...
Maybe for future months, the vehicle owner could submit a better picture if they like. Several pictures are under exposed or in shadows and it's hard to see detail.
I also noticed only a few of the pictures pop up in a viewing window. Is that a page setting?
Lots of good looking trucks in...
