Yeah, that's a later A1 . The A1R would have the giant coil-over front shocks and no air ride. So you're sort of in-between models there. Score on the C7 though.
I bet it rides well w/o air ride. The only thing that makes the A1R's a bit stiffer is the coil over. Air ride is OK but lots of...
Might want to drain and save it, then. Diesel is good for a year w/o any Stable/SeaFoam/biocide treatment. Better than gasoline, but it has a shelf life running it thru a EFI system. Depending on the conditions, you start to run into all sorts of algae, etc.
I'd certainly save it for flaming...
As far as problematic...
I ran a set on my first truck and they are now on my M1079. Five years of daily driving and never had any problem.. The only issue I ever heard was that the holes to reach the valve stems don't always line up if you have the old style CTIS units on the wheels (I never...
Rgr all, thanks. I was able to use the pic that Alex posted (with the hokey pucks). He confirmed the order as what's on the drawing there.
The whole process took 10 minutes to take down and reassemble.
Amazed that the last time I inspected all the bushing, only one on the driver side had any...
How much diesel? I'd likely drain it if you suspect the vehicle sat with the fuel in it's tank for years. If the previous owner had been driving it, I wouldn't bother. Have you SEEN the price of that stuff????? (thanks a lot, Brandon)
I wouldn't sweat the CTIS just yet. Lots of various...
Since my bushings took a hike (literally disintegrated) I'm not sure of the order of assembly.
A1R so no TM....
I'm thinking this is correct but still playing with the puzzle pieces?
*the cracked/old bnushing in the upper position was originally inverted, though
Anyone with an A1R know?
Since my rear cab bushings (A1R truck) literally fell out in chunks last week, I'm tossing in some hokey pucks until proper bushing solution arrives.
I've had a slight hydraulic fluid leak at the latch and have the o-ring kit to do the rebuild.
I thought I had bookmarked a video on the...
The guy literally spammed the LMTV groups with those images (here's just two of the LMTV groupsd I'm in over there, I didn't look in the others I belong to). And when you ask for any detail, he says "PM sent" (but I don't use Messenger and my only FB account is a friendless marketing account...
Seems like it was a operator warning to "never fill the bed more that 50% of capacity" or "never raise the bed more than 50% of potential" (something like that) due to a design flaw. I honestly don't recall but I remember thinking to myself that if I ever needed a dump truck to sure as hell not...
OK, then my "3" is incorrect. I need three upper/three lower (ie: three pairs, not enough for three trucks). If I have to buy two "sets" to get the three pairs, that's fine...
Looking at the list, I see a lot of "1's"
It makes me wonder if people confused pairs/sets with complete truck "sets".
Seems like a lot of people only replacing one bushing pair.....
