I had the same problem area but the flap had torn and shifted where the valve went through and caused the problem. I had not really even considered flaps as trouble items before this.

The non standard vin makes previous title in other state difficult to check in an another state when bring transferred.

You might want to consider 3m solid red reflective tape in a L pattern on each bottom corner of the shelter. Military used the red for many years with merdec camo and the beginning of the 3 color.

I might be missing something but ownership of the vehicle will not matter if you get pulled over. If LEO questions a valid registration/plate ; you and your DL # get cited. A parking violation or toll nonpayment would be written to a tag but I can't think of anything else.

From what I have seen before it looks like ABS automotive style plastic definitely not Aluminum.

Thanks for posting as I have some old 36 8 bolts on a rolling chassis and would not have thought about trying it on my a2's as I had always heard about rubbing and do not like spacers.
