Where is everybody meeting in Wildwood; at the Pilot or T/A at exit 329? I saw both names mentioned.
Also, I got Phil's cell number off his post, is Recovry4x4's cell number here somewhere, maybe I missed it?
With any luck I'll be in Wildwood by 8:00am Wednesday.

I was doing a little ciphering and it looks like we have in the neighborhood of 380~400 miles to go from Wildwood. That's a good 9 hours assuming we are going to make one stop somewhere in GA for fuel and or lunch. Does that sound about right?
Also, a little update on the GA cheap fuel stop. I...
It was cheaper to buy the bearing and race together from OD Iron. The bearing places I called around Orlando wanted more for just the bearing than the complete assembly from OD Iron.
I see you guys running the G177 and T831s have 11.00-20 tires. It looks like they are also available in 10.00-20. Would it be better to have the size closer to the stock 9.00-20? How is the rim fit width wise with the 11.00-20?
Adam, I hope you are putting A/C in there too. We spent a week or so driving through Kansas and Nebraska the end of July and early August and it was over 100 degrees everyday. It didn't cool off until we were almost to Montana. I can't imagine 107 degrees driving down the road in the Deuce, high...
Never heard of "farm raised" possum; I see free range possum on the side (or in) the road all the time....
I used to can possum. That means putting them in a trash can and re-locating them to dump road when they bothered the dogs too much. If I was closer to wreckerman I would hook him up....
Tires are un-sprung weight. You save nothing removing them (except maybe a little fuel milage) and lose load carrying capacity. If the tires are going with you, leave them on the axles.
I put the Walker muffler on my Deuce about a month ago. Now I can hear the transmission, transfercase, axles singing and all the other stuff rattling. I still use ear plugs going down the road. I plan on putting a rubber mat on the floor for insulation and sound proofing.
My wife was happy to...
I picked up a Deuce at Ft. Jackson in March. Jwaller towed me off base with his hmmwv. Tim was nice and very helpful but discourages you from driving the truck home. He's right in a way; you don't know the condition of the truck even if it drove in.
Since you do have to have all the correct...
I'm in Montezuma GA getting ready to leave for Alaska; and it's a 102 freaking degrees!!!! I sure hope it's about 20 degrees cooler in October. If I make it back by October, I'll see you guys at the rally.
I recently did a brake job and repacked all wheel bearings front and back. I also replaced the hub seals on the rear axles.
The hubs on the rear axles are running what I consider too hot. After running down the highway at 50mph, the rear hubs are too hot to hold your hand on for 5 seconds. I...
I want to thank SixSpeed and the others that made this rally a success.
I was a little late showing up Saturday, but got to meet Phil2968 at the camp ground. Sorry I missed everyone else. There were some nice trucks at the camp ground too.
I ended up riding around looking for the group. It's...
Not trying to ask a dumb question and having not been to this campgound before; are there any special directions (I know, look fo all the green trucks) needed to find the rally?
With any luck I will make it before noon on Saturday.
