This is the phenomenon that ronmar discussed in his second paragraph in post 19. Somewhere upstream of where you are measuring the 24 volts is a bad connection. Find and fix it and you’re done.

That is correct, the compressor is powered by the Dimensions inverter which is powered by the vehicle batteries/alternator.

For sure, a driveline shop can "re-tube" yours and balance it for a fraction of that.
