Did you take a sample from the fuel filter water drain? put some in a glass and see if it phases out.
Do you have a working temp gauge??, IIRC you have not mentioned what the temp gauge was doing during these runs.
The fuel access cover kit number is 57K3529 you can google it and find a few places you can buy it, others will be govt. suppliers that will not sell to the public.
OR you can put a want in the classified section here and possibly get a better deal.
No, the P400 can make those numbers but it was a very expensive engine that had special crank, pistons extensive block and head work including a girdle to keep the lower end together, it also requires computer control, those numbers cannot be made with a mechanical injection pump.

I have a thread on this, basically install the two trim pieces for the turbo dog house, the old exhaust will work as long as you have the correct down pipe and you should do at least a 1/2" body lift.
