Northern Tool has a crane that will lift 1000# extended & 2000# retracted for less than $500.00 that can be adapted to the LMTV or the Deuce. The Deuce mounting would be permanent as where the LMTV could be moved to any of the four corners in the bed with a modification to the base!
That was simply amazing & entertaining @ the same time. Nails would have been my biggest worry after the chains, but those have been discussed already!! The usage of the camera mounted on the quad was just icing on the cake for the video, well executed & filmed!
Mine looks like some soldier tired to remove it with a crowbar & bent the dash. Nothing that a little metal work with a hammer can't fix, but the entire dash plate must be removed along with all the instruments. 1-800-SUPRMAN is your next direction to fix that problem!
By the way, mine still...
Welcome from North Florida & to the Green Iron Fever. Nice looking truck & you drove it home from Virginia, murphy must have been busy elsewhere that day! Post some more pictures as you get things changed over more to your liking!
You posted some much needed info for that conversion piece. My heater(which nothing works) is BTC, needs major work & is bent up badly. Your pictures shows that the replacement section, will fit & fix my existing problems & allow for A/C in the future if I so decide(Florida is really HOT right...
I don't know about the chiller, but I picked up an immersion heater, NOS for a reasonable price of the starting bid. Recovery is tomorrow morning early. Good luck with your chiller..........gassy tasting water, don't know about that!
The rubber diaphrams crack & blow out, I could have replaced just the diaphrams, but they were out of stock for several weeks! Its a learning experience. I just wish I was 40 years younger so it would be easier!
As I go thru the truck doing PM's, more things are cropping up that have to be fixed. The front shuttle valves wouldn't let air get past them due to the diaphragms being blown out. Now that the shuttle valves are working as designed, the components down the line are showing up as defective...
I spent Father's Day changing out the air brake shuttle valves under the Drivers side with new ones as the truck would not build air past 60 psi on the rear brakes & 0 on the front brakes. After knocking off all the mud dabber nests, I found a loose bolt(backed out 1/4") on the injector pump...
I have a MTVR heavy towbar kit that I got from GL last year. I moved it from the crate to a storage container & will probably never move it again. It is a piece by piece move only by me as it is sooooo heavy! Useful if you need to move a tank or an MRAP!
I told you would really like the truck & lots of the guys here agree. Now you can take your portable mancave every where you want to go instead of just leaving it in the back yard!
Guys, his trailer is way nicer than the pictures show, you have to see it in person to really get the depth of it!
