Driving the HET was great and by far the easiest and best driving MV that I have been it. But it is big and you have to watch all the other little cars.
The truck is in great shape!! I am 6'6" and it makes me look like a little kid again.
I had my heater core start to leak. I took it to a radiator shop and they replace the core. I guess there is a replacement core that works.
Looks just like new.
Yes there is a drain plug in the motor and the filter housing has a little drain plug, if it is a NHC250 motor. If it is a A2 you will only have the motor drain plug.
You do not need to remove the oil pan!!!
After you drain the motor you need to drain the filter housing with the little drain...
We were not to bad, but I was about ready to put my coveralls on. LOL
When it gets around 70 anymore I am looking for a sweet shirt, sad but true.
Thanks for having us. See you in Jan. at the show.
Thanks for all the info on the fluids!!
But that is way to much to put out on the trucks.
I think it is just best to not change the fluids around that have been working in the trucks.
But that is just my 2cent and my old thinking.
When you turn the power switch on and then the start switch, but do not start, do you hear the relays in the back of the truck?
If not and no light, I would say your fuses have popped, there is a 15a and a 3a under the dash behind the abs light., well close to the light and a little lower.
