Those M1101/2 will run out when Uncle Sugar decides to quit sending them to DRMO/DLA. There have been so many sold it's not funny & most were is as new shape, with few being scrap IMHO! Enjoy yours...
That is an awesome way to make noise & scare people @ the same time. It was done @ the chemical plant I work @ during the night shifts as a real gag, due to carboys of dry ice plantwide. Now, you would get fired just for trying to make one. Law enforcement frowns on it also as they consider it...
To comment on this thread will probably cause me too much trouble; so that said, watch out for your lithium battery storage too! What's under your bathroom & kitchen sink can cause some major pains if they get together inadvertently...
For me, its all going to be viewing as the starting prices put me out of the game before it starts. I guess the Green Iron collection won't be growing any bigger after Thanksgiving!
I just got my bidding privileges this morning in an email of up to $XXX$ & there was no mention of needing a bank contact or other financial info. I would be more worried about identity thieves with my info put out on the web than GP or IP checking up on me!
With condition of the fuel I have been unlucky enough to deal with, they can keep the fuel & all the assorted gunk in it. I know all fuel tanks aren't trashed, but my luck is bad on clean fuel & fuel tanks!
Buying on plastic is an easy way to do business. You win the auction, they charge your card & send you an invoice in three days & you pick up your wins in ten business days. As long as you pay off the card @ the end of the charge cycle, no extra charges or problems. Now, if you pay the card off...
The M-1102 I picked up in Atlanta had the very same CD in a bubble wrap envelope under the landing leg. Poping it into the computer showed that it was the complete TM on the trailer with everything you want or need to know.
Good job on a truck that needed to be gone thru with good knowledge of its inner workings. Sounds like you nailed it like a pro & the wrecker now has a good home!
The Atlanta GL office is great to work with...
I drove my Deuce to work every day for the last few days & this morning, the actuator arm for the electric wipers dropped down in my face when I hit a big bump. Looking further after stopping, the joint that fastens both arms together had wallowed out & no longer holds the assembly together. So...
Welcome from another SS member from Florida. I will agree with the previous posters responses, it's not like buying a civy truck as your DD. Keep your bike in the back if you have any problems with it & you may be good to go. Get a mechanic to check her out before you drop a load of cash. Good...
Good job on an inexpensive upgrade that works. The M-1101 & M-1102 trailers have three metal plates that overlap, front to rear that does the same thing on the hoops; but for much more money guaranteed. Both systems work equally well.
Congrats on a safe recovery of your M923A2 home. That was a long trip you had to make, was it spaced out over two days or all done in one? Post some photos when you get a chance!
