IIRC you have a 60A alternator, this is one you can repair yourself, new brushes and a new regulator ass. fix 99.9% of that alternators issues, You should be able to fix it for under $200

Some are EPROMS and some are PROMS, the difference is the EPROMS can be erased using UV and re-programmed and a PROM is a one time use device, no difference to the end user.

Not all the boys, I prefer good ol Gates safety stripe! IMHO it seals easier, does not require "special" clamps, and hoses should be black, the silicone is too dang shiny again IMHO.
