Hey Carnac, I you do find that it would be convenient to leave the 151 here for a while I will gladly tinker with it for a while free of charge. Of course you have the option to leave it here and have me not tinker with it as well if that suits your fancy.
Poor thing is just ate up with rust. Lots of welding in your near future. Lots of riveting in mine. My Mite came from the same place your 151 came from.
Grab all the valve stems and pull up on them. I'm wondering if the whole head of one of the valves broke off and sat down on a piston. I've seen it before on other engines.
Member TXfirefighter has, or had another good motor that he got from me. He has been trying to sell it recently. On the other hand, I have a 6.5 with turbo you could probably use if you don't mind swapping some parts out off of your old motor. It won't work in its current configuration for you.
