    Oh alright. I understand.

M923 question on coolant filter, should I have one?

I use the Fleetguard coolant as well. It is not necessary to have a coolant filter but it is a good idea. The filters that have the additive in them are time release filters, as in they release additive over time to keep the sca levels consistent. SCAs have to be replenished over time, just in...

Official 2014 SS Georgia Rally Info SSGR14 thread

Sounds good. So what is this new 20' trailer? A civvy camper?

    Sherman GAA help needed

Most engines with no valve seals incorporated into the design use the clearance fit of the valve guide itself to keep the oil out. Sounds like the valve guides are worn and they are expanding when they warm up. You can see about having the guides knurled, or just have them replaced. Either way...

    M151a2 engine question.

That's is certainly exhaust valve stem seals. Could be guides but not nearly as likely.

    M116A3 Master Cylinder Help

The cap is right. It is spraying fluid because the master has a failed internal seal.

    What are these hubs?

I have only seen those on M135s and M211s.

    KE5EUA's 818 Build

By all means then, go ahead. I'm not going to volunteer to be a target.:-P

    What are these hubs?

Can't see. The pic is too small to make it out.

Wasting more money on it now? A drill bit slightly larger than the rivet shank makes removal a cinch. You think 32 rivets is bad... I have to de-rivet and re-rivet nearly the entire body of my mighty mite. Good thing I learned how to rivet in airframe and powerplant school.

    M35a2 Bad vibration

Pull the rear driveshaft, leave the front shaft and jackshaft in. Run it up that way and if it still vibrates it is either in the transfer case or the jackshaft. If you have a sprag case you will need to pull the front shaft as well.

    Ground hopping a multi

10-4 on the throttle return spring. It is already on there. This engine is just as it was in the truck. In fact, we just removed the axles, front sheet metal and cab, transfer case and rear axles, then cut off the frame right behind the transmission. So what I have is in fact a complete deuce...

Found metal chips in oil, still runs great

Do you guys all run your wmo through a paint strainer every time you drain your oil or what? I just drain mine and pour it into my tote.

    Ground hopping a multi

Alright cool. Thanks for the video! I don't know why I thought I would need a tank with a lift pump. I know better than that.

    Ground hopping a multi

Alright fellas, I have two Lds465-1a motors mounted in sections of deuce frame that I need to run like they are because one of them is going into my truck at some point. These engines still have the cooling systems and everything in tact, so I should be able to run them for a while. The main...

    KE5EUA's 818 Build

Ahhh. An unfortunate waste of funds. At least they looked nice all mounted up. I would probably take a hammer to them after all that work finding out they don't work.:hammer:

    KE5EUA's 818 Build

Any idea why the solid state relays won't work? They can't all be bad.
