    Pivoting winch head ideas?

Ok , I had the same thoughts RED did with post #12 on going to a smaller winch . That winch should drag a M715 around alright , but on a 5 ton I think it would fail fairly quick.

    Is that a picture of a M715 ? It doesn't look like a 5ton , just asking since it's in the 5 ton forum .

It also doesn't have a dropside bed so unless it was changed it's not a M35A2C.

North Carolina prospect lol. Thanks for any info on 925A2

That's the thing prices are all over the place . Is it close, can you test drive it ,if so no shipping costs . Winch add $2000 over a M923. With just a picture it's hard to say how it runs and drives. A guess somewhere between $6000 and $12,000 . You can go to GP and look at closed auctions and...

How long the starter will hold?

So what's the reason for posting the video ? You really need to post some basic information on why you posted it , I have seen moderators delete threads for not posting info with the video. So did you ever get your glow plug system working properly , you never updated your thread on it . When...

There are 2 batteries . Since you are totally green to these I would recommend downloading and reading the operators TM . This will give you basic knowledge of the vehicle and should be done before anyone operates one . it can save you costly repairs from improper operation and a safety factor...

    HMMWV rusty frame rails

Right, your post doesn't include that information , that's why I said "Most expanding foam with hold moisture" people will see your post and go buy the cheapest can of Great Stuff at Home Depot and will create a worst problem than they started with.
  14. porkysplace

    HMMWV rusty frame rails

The problem with that is it will attract dirt build-up with will also hold moisture.

    Tire/wheel options for M105a2

Post #1 said he did a electric brake upgrade , but I still think it is to much trailer for the Jeep. I'm looking at putting this set-up on my M149A2 . But I still won't hook it up to anything under 3/4 ton. http://www.easternmarine.com/Electric-Hydraulic-Brake-Actuators/

They are alright with the electric over hydraulic brake conversion and a 1 ton truck.
