What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

This is the best I've got. The army didn't prime the body so the paint is flaking off and I didn't want to see pics of it on my computer, lol.

Camping style but there are bathrooms, it's close to town for food and other necessities. All in all a nice meet with plenty of space to run around in.

    915 converted to farm semi

Looks great! I just finished my GSS air-ride seat install in my M915A1 today and plan to go the same route as you with the 395 tires. Radio is last on the list but looking like a necessity at this point. Post more pics as you go!

    Value of GovPlanet inspection reports

From what I've gathered and seen, the GP people have a tablet and app they go by with little room for commentary. Simply the 1-5 star system for each category we see on their site and maybe some room at the end of each section or if a 1 or 2 star mark is made then commentary is allowed...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Done with everything inside the dash and the dash it self. The doors are lubed and clean, just need some adjusting so I don't have to slam them anymore.

    Took the plunge again......

Congrats on the win! Your son will like the 1008/1028 better than the blazer I guarantee it but don't be surprised when he wants to make it go faster. Hammering away at 55mph can get old. ;)

    Issues with my New Truck.

MarcusOReallyus is correct on the napa solenoid replacement. If your local NAPA wants an arm and a leg (say $58 + tax) for said solenoid there is a cheaper alternative on fleabay item# 250916002231. Having just sorted out all the issues with my GP system in my 1028 I can attest the solenoid was...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Finished going through the glow plug system with a fine comb and changed out the solenoid (did new plugs last week). BAM! Instant start every time. Belts were changed, door panels painted black, got new window seals in today. The next biggest question is paint color: green (3 color) or tan? :?

GL Incorrectly charging sales tax on motor vehicles?

:ditto: In Texas if you were charged sales tax on your invoice regardless of state it will be credited to you when you file for the title. If the tax was less then you pay the difference, if the tax was more then it covered the tax Texas would charge you and you get a tax "credit" in the state...
