Yep, two not including the beaten to heck 1009 from a few auctions back. Both trucks ran says the auction so I hope they are solid units for their new owners.

Found the issue as I suspected..and hope it wasn't. There were no parts or fragments present so this had to have been a known issue before DRMO turn in. Any ideas on repairing this? The broken "sleeve" can't be pulled directly out.
Mods: Please move thread to 5 ton discussion.
I've pulled the tach and replaced the cable with one from Porkchop, both are new and working correctly. I was back tracking the issue and found the next problem part being that drive tip. Knowing the sensor isnt needed I dug up some old threads on here to see if it was possible to remove the...
I did the searching and did exactly that but no luck getting the tach to work. I'll play with it more tomorrow in the day light but this truck was picked over for odd parts.
Looking for a "Drive Tip" for my M931A1 w/ Cummins 250. It appears this part was robbed (along with other things I've now replaced) so my Tach doesn't work.
After many months of selling the LEDs I finally get to put them on my wrecker. I just need to find a replacement for the running lights and the swivel mounted floods then it will be 100% LED.
Of the batch of wreckers that mine came from all of them had it. I just pulled up the A2s of that event and each one has a level winder but all were 2006 or newer rebuilds. It's been a long time since I've seen a wrecker without one to be honest but instillation may have been on the RRAD list.
Yes they will fit. There are pros and cons to it of course, largest of which are loss in power but lower cruising rpms.
