I was able to do that this morning, they were closed over the weekend in my area.

Solution: The sounds were taken care of with a cover, WillWagner is indeed correct in his diagnosis and repair. I will have to source some other internal components related to the tach assembly to get it fully operational again but at least it's nothing serious. Thanks!:goodjob:

Check for any air leaks with the truck off and airing up the system with an air compressor. Check the air dryer to see if the bottom flap is sealing correctly. Generally a poke or prod with a skinny instrument will reseat it. Those are the easy/common steps.

I recently picked up an M923A2 that was super clean but a non-runner due to the typical loss of fuel prime. After I got it running I noticed a metallic pinging coming from the drivers side around the IP. The tach cable adapter/connector is MIA. The fluids are good and brand new, no blow by, runs...

They should send it to you automatically in the mail as long as the auction said a title would be provided. I've had some issues with generator trailers being inventoried in their system as "generator with trailer" so their system didn't flag it for an sf-97. Had to call in the old fashion way...

It does look intended to haul vehicles. If you were to install tool boxes, small crane/hoist, etc you could get away with registering it as "utility truck". If it's anything for hauling vehicles like a wrecker in any way they will reject you because you have to be a licensed tow truck driver...
