    Multifuel/ldt-465 engine price question

Ditto to Mr. Head, the price is what you think it's worth. If they are sitting outside exposed and he doesn't crank it in front of you then I'd pay only scrap price. $1200 seems high to me personally but I remember running take outs going for 500-700 a year or two ago. Defects wise are typical...

    Tire Help

You need new tires for any safe travel or public roadway travel. A set of NOS 9x20 or 11x20 NDT arn't expensive and if given the option take the 11s for better speed/ lower rpm. I just sold a set of 11 95%-100% tires to a member in California for $100 each. That's tire, tube, and insert so the...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The weather finally cooperated and I managed to fabricate a set of custom troop seats for the 813. Tedious job but for less than a bar tab it's hard to beat for a new set. I also put on the NOS arctic cargo assembly.

    End Curtains Sizing

It does and thanks. I just ended up with the oddity of a 5 ton vinyl cover without end curtains dated 2008 (came from the USAF).

    CARC Prep

I've used gillespie paint (CARC substitute) with great success on both CARC and flat house hold paint. Everything depends on the prepwork so don't skimp out on it. I wouldn't sand CARC unless it is a must for rust treatment or major flaking as it is toxic and you could be held liable for what...

    3 deuce's

You should verify ownership and papers with the guy first. I've bought a few trucks from FD/VFD's and they had to follow the book on selling it (if they even could). Seafire is right about the old program/new program so take that into consideration. Personally: no title no deal.

If your turbo blew up what would you replace it with?

It is a possibility that I missed a few. Some trucks were still parked in the DRMO lot despite being up for auction, one of mine was. Glad you got a screamer lol.

If your turbo blew up what would you replace it with?

Yes, the batch of M35A2C (dropside model) that were recently auctioned off at hooks.

If your turbo blew up what would you replace it with?

That batch of trucks were 1987 M35A2C with D turbo. They were all from Tinker AFB and identical trucks. Source: Scoped em out in person, won 3 in that batch. ..but to answer your original question I'd suggest rebuild it to make sure it's done right.

    Bow/tarp size

    It's a 5 ton cargo cover. The deuce has a 12 x 8 foot bed and the 5 ton has a 14 x 8 foot bed (short bed).

    m332 Tarp

They are hard to get a hold of so $150 for a new one is a good deal. A neighbor couldn't find at all and had one made for $300.
