    Oh yeah. Just wanted you to know you have a good running motor there. That transmission is good too. Shifts smooth and has all the gears. Radiator did hold water at the time.

    When you put it back together, spray both sides of the headgaskets with copper spray-a-gasket. It is really just a gasket adhesive and will help keep the headgaskets from seeping around the outsides later on. It comes in a half size aerosol can at most auto parts stores.     That whole setup was in my yard a couple weeks ago. In fact, I helped torch it up. I had it running and driving just before we lit the torches.

    That looks like some pretty fast moving water, and deep too. It doesn't try to wash you downstream? These trucks have a large side surface area.

    I run 80w90 with Lucas. I prefer heavier oils for more protection.

    Whatever you decide to put in it, do yourself a favor and add two quarts of Lucas oil stabilizer.

    That isn't a hose coming from that "wheel cylinder". That's the wire for the Abs. The other hose is in fact for the ctis like Michael said.
