Yep same thing here, it's the Girl. I had a PU out there yesterday, was out with Robert from 7:50 to 8:30, load took 4 min as long as he can see you he let me look around. He had 2 other come out for loads. It is because folks were moving and taking things off of the DRMO/GL lots. So now...

They were pre war trucks with a flat head 6, transfer case was made by MH and had Timken axles. Most got used up on the Alcan hwy. They use the same bed as a 1 1/2 Chevy. Came with or w/o winch and even had a dump version.

This saga started several years ago on a pheasant hunting trip in the far north of the Texas panhandle. KCCLAY and I were out there a spotted a shot up VF Dodge 1 1/2 ton truck with out bed and a stretched frame, found the land owner and it was given to me for free. Had it for a couple of years...
I am going to try the Gaz way later this year. I asked Robo McDuff to try and get some close ups one that is not to far away from him. I was almost going to start another thread but used search and found this one. Here's another Gaz rear shot.
Robo McDuff Next time you go back there please try and get some close up shots on the spare tire carrier on the Gaz 66 with the radio box. Thank you in advance.
No help on the planes but the if the Army MV is the one in the back ground it is a M114 APC.

at least 5 hunks, the same lot I got the old style trolly rings just cut in half, made a rig and wielded them back. Don't have pictures of the rings but here are some drive ends of 20mm Gatling guns that were "demilled" the barrels were in 6 pieces.
The wide one is an A3 frame with an A2 bed the other appears to be a 101a1 with the 5 hole Budds . And yes it is ok that they have mismatched tags 116 is a frame, 101 is a cargo body
I had some years ago that were cut up, there are roller bearings between the rings and the used the biggest tip to wack them up. Tried for a few days to piece one back together, no joy. They came to me as scrap and left the same way.
We did have one member go down late Saturday, he works indoors and was drinking gallons of water. Got him cooled off and no bad outcome just didn't come back out Sunday.
