I know this is true with dependent ID, what about a guy picking up a HMMWV that has never served? Some states offer ID cards for the young'uns, some don't.
If the glow plug system if working, this a sure fire way to do serious damage to the engine. I would become a little more familiar with the 6.2 before you get it or just winch it on the trailer. Ether and indirect injection is bad juju.
One can set up their lift to keep the tires out of the fenders. I ran 35s and a 4 inch with spongy 52" springs with no issues. I did correct the bump stops to prevent tire rash which should be done an yways.
In regards to rare trucks and the M275A2, I've had a few of them as well. Like Wreckerman, I struggled to sell the really nice one I had as well. Very hit and miss. DRMO sold off a bunch of the lil tractors for a few hundred each in the 90s. The pipeline truck is much more useful. Other than...
It's a cool truck with a small following. With that said, it's hard to determine what the market will hold. I sold a small amount of BII of mine for $1000 but it had the ever elusive trunion in the package. I know of a few folks over the years that would like to hold that trunion just long...
I agree. I should have kept the A3 axle under my build but at the time I didn't think to run the 235s. I did put the 235s on my M101A3 and they work great. The slide out bench is great and you only have to use the leg if you are going to crank on the vise. Leg is off an M101.

Well, if he uses a skyhook, he will probably need a spare tire hoist to lift himself up.
As far as chassis choice, the A3 has the bigger frame rails and higher GVW. When I assembled the original one the A3 axle and tiresm were too wide. I felt the A2 axle was too narrow. An A3 axle with...
