Since you didn't post tire sizes are they different diameter tires ? I would avoid running a mix of bias ply tires and radial tires also .

With the stock cargo bed it keeps the tires from rubbing , any bed you put on it without the channel will need to be tubbed out for the tires to clear.

73 was about the time they started using disc brakes , if it is a disc brake master that could be your problem

What year is the master cylinder off of ? It sounds like you have a late model master cylinder.

What are you using for a proportioning valve ? Is the master cylinder for drum brakes or disc/drum?

Or buy from a flipper and have instant gratification.

What gear ratio are you running?

Pull the hub and drum and service your wheel bearings at the same time.

Used motor oil is hard on IP's due to the acids in it and the fact no matter how well you filter it you will not get all the fine metal particles out. Best to stay with clean oil or 2 cycle.

Hope you sold cheap as any cash transaction over 10K is required to be reported to the gooberment , they are going to get you one way or another.
