That "resourcefulness" or fraud if your will , is having a effect on all MV owners here in michigan . I believe it has brought issues to florida as well.
Michigan Title Issue
Anybody that's been around auctions for a while knows a high minimum will scare away bidders , however a low minimum and a reserve will get people bidding and often bring a higher price than if it had a high minimum bid. It's called marketing and that's what GP/Iron planet does.

Search is a wonderful tool. :doghead:
Well lets look at some facts here from post #921.
1. Your in canada and have someone else applying for the EUC. ( This could be considered a shill buyer)
2. You are equipment buyers/sellers and deal in foreign countries.
3.It's not as you put it "just a off-road vehicle" , it is a DOD controlled...
So you don't think GP should have their costs covered because you want to break your contract ? They have costs involved in dealing with the sale and paperwork to the government ( which is where the delays are ) and every time you call complaining increases their costs as you are further...

Kelly Blue Book only goes back to 1992. That's why having older vehicles insured for a agreed value gives you a base price to start with as your insurance will require a appraisal , so there is a value set on that vehicle.
I doubt Texas insurance laws and Pennsylvania insurance laws are anywhere near the same so that might not help much.
I Pennsylvania a "no-fault" state ?
The problem is if you don't have a agreed upon value in your policy they consider it a total because repairs exceed the value. With no blue book for them it's going to be a battle getting a fair deal from a insurance company.
I think it would be good to use long enough to choke the tires , but would want to leave pressure on the system for long periods of time when not near the vehicle. Most wreckers I have drove have had them but was more to lock the brakes for winch outs and we also used steel plates chained to the...
I agree if the frame is straight that repairable. Of course we need some pictures in the daylight to really see the damage.
Other factors are going to be how much rust in the floorboards and door jambs (which will also affect value on a total).
