Having problems getting GL to actually look at and forward my EUC to Battle Creek. I don't really need them to review it, since it's filled out exactly like I've filled out others that have passed.
So can I just skip them and send it myself? If so, where/who would I send it to?
I really...
I've got a bunch of ammo cans. .50 and 40mm. .50s are $9 ea and the 40mm are $14 ea All in good shape with good seals. Some will have minor exterior surface rust, but I'll bring extras so people can pick and choose.
Also brass. 5.56, .300 blk, .308
Oh, I've also got a few of those...
Cool, thanks.
That looks like the right color.
It doesn't look like it would be any of the 1s or 3s, based on semi-gloss = 2
Looks like Rapco has it in rattle cans, even. They call it Semi-gloss Marine Corps Forest Green.
Does anyone know what exact color is used on the current issue standard M2A1 ammo cans? This is the can they use for practically everything small arms. .50 cal, 5.56, 9mm, 00 buck, etc...
It's not really flat. It's kinda semi-gloss, I guess. Or maybe "satin?" I tried a bit of Rustoleum...
Just did pawnshop's spin-on filter mod. We'll see if it starts up on the first try tomorrow.
Yep, that fixed it. Started up on the first try, with gusto.
I won't be able to make it, but I can send some stuff up with mkcoen if anyone is interested.
I've got an NOS 809 series 5 ton transmission in the can.
And a bunch of ammo cans. .50 cal (m2a1) and 40mm
I'm looking for a spare m101a1 trailer rim and tire, too. If anyone who is going has...
Like the 939 series trucks, I mean. Those trucks have a voltage protection box with some big diodes in them to prevent back emf from damaging alternators, ABS computer, etc...
So why doesn't the cucv have something like that? And would the cucv benefit from something like that?
I ask...
Installed a step-down voltage regulator off of the 24V bus bar in the back seat, chinese blue-tooth reciever/amp off of that, and a couple of decent radio shack bookshelf speakers on top of the rear wheel wells.
I think the blue-tooth thing was like 12 dollars and the voltage regulator was...
When I get it off, if I can tell where the crack is, I might just take a crack at sealing it with some lead solder, myself.
I've got some old stained-glass lead solder (thick stuff) as well as some electronics solder. As well as some flux. And I've got a propane torch.
Took it over to a radiator shop and they stuck a pressure tester on it.
It appears to be leaking from the bottom driver's side of the radiator. Can't see it directly because of the channel/shroud on the bottom of the vehicle, but it drips coolant from there under pressure.
What do ya'll...
Coolant temp light came on halfway up to Austin (3 hour drive). Pulled over and immediately shut the engine off. Sure enough, coolant reservoir was empty.
Only pure dumb luck I was by some oilfield service company that had a night shift person there to fill my jug. I had checked the...
"Destructive Device" as defined by Federal law:
Any firearm with a bore over 0.50 inch except for shotguns or shotgun shells which have been found to be generally recognized as particularly suitable for sporting purposes. (Many firearms with bores over 0.50" inch, such as 20-gauge or 12-gauge...
I vote for securing the engine to a stand and run it before installing it in the goat.
Also, there is nothing good in Clayton. Only trains and train noises.
