My first deuce was 550 miles from home. I think m109a2's deuce was around 1000 miles from home. A long distance recovery is mandatory for your first deuce.
Oh, when you tell them flat, tell the FLAT FLAT. Really emphasize that and tell them you are painting an MV. Also, it sticks best to(you guessed it) 2k primer. You want to prime it and then shoot color just after the primer has flashed off, 15 minutes or so. DO NOT let the primer cure overnight...
When you order it you have to tell them you want flat, otherwise you will end up with semi- gloss. Flat is perfect as far as the sheen goes, but it is thinner because the additives to flatten it thin it out, so it requires less thinner. I believe xylene is the thinner to use if you need to thin...

I'm leaving at 5:00 am in the morning to pick up two M105 trailers and four pallets of tires and bring them back here for another member. I am driving the deuce so I can pick up some other small to medium items and bring back to Louisiana if anybody needs.
You think that smells bad? Try living downwind from a paper mill.
On another note, I have not checked my test group in a couple of days now. Will be gone from very early till very late tomorrow, so will check day after and post an update.
