I checked with my local auto parts store about getting some 6tl's. They said I had to write a letter saying it was for a military vehicle. :o They also wanted me to put it on letter head. I told them it would be from the desk of Chuck Graham and they seemed to be satisfied with that.
RE: lights at last
Sounds like that switch is broken. I am pretty sure the service drive position is up on that switch. If you need one I will check my Junkvee to see if I have one in it.
Check with the SS Member from KY who was on Junkyard Wars. He put tracks on a delivery van. I can't remember his name to save my life but the truck he made can be seen as his avatar.
I love your book David. I misplaced one then found it after I got another one. I now have two and my son likes it so much I plan to give him the extra. It was just the right balance between printed info and pictures.
I know of no Michigan law for removing the orange and if it is a federal law I would not worry to much about it. It is kink of like the myth that messing with a private mailbox is a federal offense. It is but you will never see a postal inspector come out and prosecute a person for vandalizing a...
Did the #1 test bad before the rebuild? What is the reading on the front battery when it did not start? When you do get it started what is the voltage reading on the front battery while running? You may have a large draw somewhere that is drawing down the front battery. If the draw is in the 12...

Are you talking about the switch to the right. This is the switch that turns on the service lights, blackout lights, or turns everything off. Up is service (regular lights) middle is off, and down is blackouts. With the right switch in blackout you can turn on the blackout...
I have been running WelWellman G070's in my cucv for a few months now. I got mine from INDUSA on Ebay and they specifically had these listed for cucvs. They do have the correct connector for the cucv. I would stay that SSD is wrong.
Remember that anything attached to the front of the engine crankshaft by a belt is taking power away from the engine. This is why a lot of race cars have electric fans for the radiator instead of running a fan off the water pump. It is entirely possible that any belt driven accessory ( fan...
I think most of this stuff occured while we were in the military. I don't think they are going to ban the Army anytime soon. I do agree with the caution about smacking into things intentionally.
My interest was in having another camo blazer in the area near me so I could point the finger at her when I did something bad in my cucv. Up till now I could not get away with anything because the thing was so identifiable. I also wanted her to know that I was pretty near if she had trouble with...
Re: RE: Hmmwv
This came up in a thread a few weeks ago. I got one on ebay and am waiting for it to arrive. When it does I will take picture and give a report. I have about $25 in it right now.
As for the M2, check out this link. These are the cheapest ones I have seen and they are metal...
RE: Hmmwv
It may be legal to go around with fake cuts on your face but when the emergency services people get called off real calls because of checking on you it is a bad idea. Do not ride around with real or fake guns on ring mounts. It will bring way too much negative attention to our hobby...
