My tow bar has the "universal" end like the one above. I have not checked to see what the diameter of the bar attachment pins are but I think they are 1". I got a couple modern tow bar ends and found they were made for attachment to something over 1 inch in diameter. For now I will just have to...
While in the Army in Korea I was riding with a Korean Corporal. I was in my Humvee with the newer style fold away west coast style mirrors. A Korean car was double parked and you all know how wide a Humvee is. We were going from Camp Stanley to Camp Casey. Anyone that has been in Korea can tell...
Check the grounds at the rear light attachment and turn signal points. Do you guys have the newer plastic composite lights? If so they ground through the mounting bolts and if they are dirty they can cause screwy stuff like this. Mine were acting weird like the light not flashing on one side and...
RE: re-fuse to lights
That is probably your glow plugs going on and off. Even though the wait light goes out they still go on and off when you have first started up. This causes the volt meter to fluctuate and the click is probably the glow plug relay going on and off. Does it do it just after...

Welcome. It is good to see another M1009 owner driving in A2. Mine can be seen at city hall or the old YMCA building while I am at work. Do you work off Plymouth Rd near the Islamic center? If you need any help with it or parts hear and there drop me a line. It is pretty...

I bought a 6.2 in the can and found the repair tag on it. It listed a stripped bolt hole as the reason for deadlining it. I still have yet to find what bolt they are talking about. $77 in the can and only an hour and a half from me.
I may have a blazer rad but I need to check. I probably would not be able to get it for a couple of weeks. It would not be pristine but would not leak and would cool. I will let you know.
My last cucv had totally fried batteries. I hooked up the slave cable from my other running cucv. It took about 30 minutes of charging from the running vehicle to get the dead battery vehicle to start. The you still need enough charge in the front battery to get the ignition switch and 28 volt...
Welcome back Paul. How many did you get? I was called in to work my day off on the weekend I had planned to go up north hunting so I did not even make it out at all.
