    M923A1 Abs Light

Ok, I pulled both rear wheel assemblies to get at the transducer and exciter. Both sides didn't look bad. I cleaned them up anyway, the left side being the worse of the two. I also tapped on the side of the transducer to get it to protrude from the bracket more in case it was out of tolerance...

    M923A1 Abs Light

If you find anything about clearing it other than with the unit please let us know. I will also be looking. I will probably pull the two rear tires today and do some work on it. I will take pics to post and will check my fuses. Since there is a good self test and my light doesn't come on until I...

    M923A1 Abs Light

Try pulling the electrical connector on the abs unit between the rear axles. Make sure its clean and not grounding out. Then put in silicone, aka di-electric grease, and put back together and replace the fuse and see what happens. It sounds like you might have a grounding short somewhere...

    M923A1 Abs Light

Since the unit self tests fine and only indicates a problem after I start moving i'll start at the transducer and exciter first. I will take a close look to see if the middle axle has anything but a quick look appears that only my rear most axle is abs monitored. I have the manual and read...

    M923A1 Abs Light

Well, my ABS light just started coming on. It comes on after I start driving the truck. I took a look at the system and the control unit is between the two rear axles. Sensors on my truck are only on the last axle ! So, only the rear most tires are monitored. Since I get a good self test on...

    M923 trans shifting early

I ran out of adjustment on mine but managed to get mine to shift around 1800 in 4th instead of 1600rpm. There is a cable adjustment as well and mine checked ok. I could pull and put the IP adjuster lever a little further forward to gain some more adjustment but I'm happy with it know. Do...

    923A1 Recovery Thursday (8-2-12)

Jeff, If you want, bring the truck up to my place and we'll go over everything in detail and try and fix the small issues. Give me a call and we'll get together. We should be able to fix the brake and turn signal issue quickly and I'll show you how to service and check the truck.

    Electronic Light controller

Did you ground the unit before you attached the main connector cable ? This is a must since the wiring is hot and without the ground wire connected first can immediately damage the unit. They are not as tough as the old 3 lever type. I installed one in my M932a1 a month ago with no issues so...

    M923 trans shifting early

Check the TM's. There is a shift linkage on the IP that is adjustable. I had to do this on mine. There is also a couple of posts on this so use the search.

Jeff just let me know. Like I said, I have an extra flasher and I now know where the brake pressure switch is. Should be easy to trouble shoot and fix. Jon in one of the pictures looks like he's break dancing or something :-P

    no title for m35a2

I would walk away. I had to go through the courts to get a vehicle awarded to me before I could get a title. It was a 1943 dodge weapons carrier. The cost was about $1000. I will never do it again. No title ..... No sale !!!!!!

Just bought a m923A1 from Jeff City!

Jeff I did a search and couldn't find the post I was thinking of. Oh well. Power steering fluid would be a good idea. The tranny will have 10wt motor oil in it so if its low we can use the 15-40 to get it home. Diesel treatment is a good idea as well.

    Led Taillight

Make sure you have a good ground. I just put LED's on both my trucks. With just tail lights no issues, everything worked with my solid state flasher. Once I put on the front my flasher would no longer work. I got a replacement flasher from Eriks' and it all works great.
