Just unscrew the electrical connection on top of the unit its all on module. Be aware that you will have no warning for low air or if your parking brake is on.
On an all air brake truck be very carefull.
Pull the pump. Might need a simple cleaning or snug up. These pumps can start to come apart. Do a search. There are replacements either stock or an inline type.
The "TRUCTOR" gets some new lights ! Well I found a fair price on some LED headlights, rear lights, and front lights. I had to get a new flasher control box from Erick's since my box would not activate with both front and rear LED lights. I also put on a converter cable so the front turn...
Remove the fuse from the pump and see if you still get the noise. The fuse is located in the small metal cover on top of the tank.
Your truck should run without the pump if you have a good fuel line and prime.
Thanks !
Just finished installing LED's all around and headlights. Waiting on a new flasher box from Ericks' since my old one doesn't work with the LED lights.
You still have an air leak between the pump and the tank. Did you get a good seal on the fuel filter ? With an air leak the primer is not going to work. I had to snug and twist my filter assembly a couple of times to get it to finally seal.
Well the second zipper boot on my M932A1 just gave out. This only had 200 miles on the boot since the replacement. The one before lasted only 500 miles. I've had my front apart to replace the inner oil seal so I know everything is good. I would like to stick with zipper boots. Does anyone know...
I would try TNJ Murray, Boyce, or white owl for parts. I would try to fix it first. I'm impressed that the engine would still run. If you have a big rig repair shop close by they might be able to help you out. As diesels motors go the NHC 250 is fairly simple, just really big !
Good luck...
There is a shift linkage that attaches to the IP from the transmission. I would start with its adjustment. I don't remember where in the TMs the procedure is. I did an adjustment on mine due to an early shift into 4th gear. It helped a lot. I've included a picture. There is another post...
Here's my M932a1 with a shortend deuce drop side bed. I thought about trying to leave the tow plate on and do the same thing. There would be way too much fabrication required to get it to work right.
My M932a1 just sprung a leak on the passenger front axle. I'll be ordering all the parts tomorrow. Just going to replace all the seals. What stinks is I just replaced the boot on that wheel :-(. Not cheap to replace everything but that's the cost of driving these things.
Do the remote brake resevoir upgrade. That is the best and upgrade for the $ out there. Helps keep the vehicle safe by being able to check your fluid easily. Do a search, lots of info on that upgrade on the forum.
